about me

My first graphic design class was over 20 years ago, and although I graduated with a bachelor's degree in office/business administration, I soon discovered graphic design was my true calling.

As an eager-to-learn, adventurous, young adult in Atlanta, I held a variety of positions that included: marketing secretary, office manager, marketing coordinator, webmaster, channel/field marketing associate, database administrator, legal assistant, and even real estate assistant.

Mostly by the necessity of my employers, I was thrown projects that helped me learn how to create dynamic PowerPoint presentations, various marketing materials and print collateral. I had no idea how to develop a website and the internet was a relatively new thing in the mid '90s. I didn't want anything to look amateur—I wanted my company to stand out, so I taught myself many tricks of the trade and how to create eye-catching, visually appealing graphics.

After jumping from a couple of "sinking ships", I decided to go into business for myself in 2002. Many thanks to those who have contributed to my success and to those who are taking the time to learn about me and what I have to offer. Thanks for visiting!
